We are a multi-disciplinary club that seeks to unite students from varied backgrounds in the pursuit of design learning and excellence. Hosting both large and small events on and off campus, we work to connect current students with alumni, design professionals, and resources and prepare them to step out confidently into the working world.
Design Careers Club at UC Davis aims to empower students to take bold risks not only in their designs, but in their career aspirations. Each year, we provide three main events: Internship Night during Fall Quarter, Alumni Networking Day during Winter Quarter, and our big event, the Design Career Fair during Spring Quarter.
Whether you’re a new UCD student or a sage super-duper-senior, we’re here to help you launch your design career! We host a diverse array of workshops and events each school year to help ensure the success of UC Davis Design students — whatever that personally looks like to you! By partnering with related clubs and campus organizations we aim to demonstrate the interdisciplinary links that make design such a fantastic field and to prepare our fellow students to confidently step out into post-grad life and take the risks they need to achieve their dreams.
