Preparing for the Design Career Fair
Research, Research, Research
Look at the companies that will be attending which interest you most. This is a great way to figure out which companies you’re compatible with and the key qualities they’re looking for.
Refine your Resume
Whether you’ve fine-tuned for the 100th time or just started creating your resume. Do your best to finish before the Design Career Fair. Check in with advisors, bounce ideas with friends or ask for feedback from professors. Remember, the Resume
Review Booth will be available at the fair if you have any uncertanty!
Assemble your Portfolio
If you have a collection of work you’d like to show off to employers this is the perfect time to highlight some of those creative pieces.

The Design Career Fair will be held at the Art Annex
Art Annex Davis, CA 95616
By Bike & Bus:
Some bike parking will be available directly in front of the Art Annex, but given how many attendees we expect, that will fill up! Please park by Shields Library and walk across the street to the Art Annex if that occurs.
The Silo Terminal is 2-3 minute walk to the Art Annex. When walking from the Memorial Union Terminal, it is about 7-8 minutes.
By Car:
Parking is free on the weekends, but the Art Annex parking lot will be reserved for companies setting up booths. For attendees, please park in Lot 5 and stroll through the Arboretum. Once you arrive at the parking lot, follow the signs to the
Art Annex.
